DESCRIPTION:In support of the Government to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a core industry\, while empowering traditional industries to upgrade and transform through AI adoption\, the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) is launching “AI Empowerment:  Enhancing Industry Capabilities” seminar series in 2026. \nA seminar titled “AI in Risk Management: Enhancing Financial Decision-Making” will delve into how AI innovations are revolutionising risk management practices\, enhancing decision-making processes\, and driving improvements in customer experiences. \nOur primary objective is to propel the development of the financial industry by harnessing AI and data analytics to boost efficiency\, safety\, and sustainability. DESCRIPTION:The Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) has inaugurated a “FinTech and ESG Alliance”(FTEA) on 22nd February 2024 to foster a dynamic platform for exchange and knowledge-sharing. \nThe FTEA aims to enhance engagement with regulators\, policymakers\, incubators and accelerators\, FinTech start-ups and enterprises\, as well as other stakeholders to promote technological collaboration and commercialisation\, bolstering Hong Kong’s role as a world leading green FinTech hub. The Alliance is set to host a series of events for its members including talks\, seminars\, technology showcases\, overseas missions\, to facilitate collaboration among stakeholders and tap into fresh opportunities in the Mainland China and overseas\, injecting new impetus into Hong Kong’s economy. \nEvent Highlight
