FTEA

Founded by ASTRI in February 2024, the FinTech and ESG Alliance (FTEA) aims to serve as a platform for effective communication and knowledge-sharing among key stakeholders operating within the financial technology and sustainable development industry. These include regulatory bodies, policymakers, incubators, accelerators, FinTech startups, and enterprises in Hong Kong, Mainland China (especially the Greater Bay Area), and overseas. The alliance will actively explore opportunities for collaboration and technology commercialisation.

To foster a dynamic technology ecosystem that encourages collaboration and partnership among government, industry, academia and research institutions. While focusing on financial technology sector, we are committed to embracing ESG principles to drive Hong Kong’s emergence as a leading global hub for innovation and technology.

Mission

Enhance Hong Kong’s position as a technology hub by facilitating knowledge transfer and promoting innovation in technology development.

Encourage the integration of budding financial technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence to enhance operational efficiency and stimulate innovation.

Foster a robust technology ecosystem among financial institutions, policymakers, regulators, incubators, accelerators, and other stakeholders to facilitate disruptive technology development and adoption.

Utilise advanced technology for digital transformation, ushering in a new era of sustainable and responsible innovation in financial services.
